SUPERAUTOMATIC DIAMOND CUTTING ICE LATHE FIOA
The ice lathe 776253 succeeds in making the so-called step-by-step.
It is complete with a built-in refrigerating system and a double chamber cylinder, which is a little bit bigger, Ø 400 mm
The only difference with the mechanical lathes with norton box, is that this ice lathe (776253) does the same things but is electronically controlled. In fact there is a computerized system, very well done, which allows you to wrap the chain step by step – with the desired distance between loop and loop.
This winding of the chain is then memorized by the internal computer, because when we want to make different designs on the chain, the computer will repeat exactly, with extreme precision, the chain winding step.
This is the reason why, with this ice lathe, it is possible to diamond cut the chain on a flat surface, and, by changing the diamond cutting head, also obtain diamond cuttings that are very difficult to achieve. The precision is excellent.
The superautomatic ice lathe 776253 is mostly requested for the production of concave chains, convex chains, chains with gull,wing pattern and multiple faceting chains etc. etc.
Those productions can be obtained by using a diamond block composed of an high-speed rotating motorized head, on which special tools are inserted, which allow to obtain designs that normally could not be obtained by using flat tools.
This process is practically a double system, in which
1) Traditional diamond cutting is made with normal tools.
2) Diamond tools to be inserted in the high speed rotating head
